Given all the discussion about Mozart on MCML of late, I find it fortunate
that Peter Shaffer (the author of "Amadeus") has a recent article in the
New York Times regarding his view of the composer and how it affected what
he put into the play.  Inevitably, it serves to answer some of his critics
in the choices he made.
