Interestingly to note regarding this performance of Aretha, Pavarotti was
planning to sing it but he caught cold just before the performance. The
ever resourceful ms. franklin decided she could wing it and sang it in
pavarotti's range. Incredible indeed. This isn't the first time pop stars
have visited real music. I believe micheal bolton cut an aria album some
time ago, so if anyone needs go blind and vomit to death feel free to check
that out. . . . .
