Daryl Loomis wrote concerning the composer Yost(1754-1786):

I just wanted to add that this is a fine disc.  The music is typical of the
time period and very well constructed.  Klocker has been a strong exponent
of music of the period, and his research has unearthed some excellent
works.

As for Yost, I'd place him just a little lower than Krommer and Crusell.
