When I started this thread, I indicated that Perahia has recorded the Bach
partitas; I was all mixed up - nothing unusual. Perahia recorded the
English Suites; it was Scherpkin on Ongaku who recorded the partitas.

My apologies to Kar-Ming Chong who I hope has not been blazing a path to
the record stores to get Perahia's partiatas. And thanks to Michael Stein
who recommended Scherpkin; these are two great discs which have to be
bought separately. Boy, you can't get away with anything on this list.

Any comments on Goode's versions? I'd be willing to revise further
downward my opinion just to get you folks talking.
