Coincidence!

Tim Mahon wondered:

>Hmmm.... Leonard Cohen didn't write a symphony, did he?

This prompted a memory of a long-unplayed LP. It had orchestral music
by someone better known in the pop field. Someone McSomething, I thought.
Searched my database, found Rod McKuen's guitar concerto which I bought
at a sale in 1974. Several posts on, I read Karl Miller's thoughts on
the Louisville label:

>...they really seemed to lose their sense of purpose when they issued a
>piece of Rod McKuen!

I could use the piece of my memory which now holds McKuen's name for
something more important. I guess Karl could too.
