Something I forgot to mention in this week's www.sfcv.org - Music Shorts:

SFO general director Lotfi Mansouri's salary is exactly the same as that
of Bush II, twice Bill Clinton's and Bush I's, four times JFK's - but all
well below the salaries of the Met's Joseph Volpe and James Levine.

Not to worry though, there is a push to increase the presidential salary.

And both Mansouri and Bush must wonder about the executive compensation
record, Michael Eisner's $589 million package from Disney - which seems
especially strange today, when a layoff of 4,000 was announced, mostly at
the Disney parks (prompting Jay Leno to ask, How do you downsize the seven
dwarfs?).
