As this time period falls at month-start (not to say year-start, or
millenium-start) the information from the webcasters is slim:

Singspiels - CBC Radio 2, La Chaine, BBC Radio 3, Antena2 and WNED all
broadcast Verdi's La Traviata on Saturday at the Met at 13:30. BBC/3, has,
in their 14:30 "Performance on 3" slot: Monday - Bernstein's On the Town;
Tuesday - a gala celebration of Stephen Sondheim's 70th birthday; Wednesday
- a musical play about Don Quixote by Mitch Leigh; Thursday - Kurt Weill's
Seven Deadly Sins.

Artists - On Saturday - at 8:00 on BBC/3, Angela Hewitt plays Bach and
Messiaen; at 18:30 Antena2 has Harnoncourt with Bruckner's 9th. On Sunday
- at 8:00 on BBC/3 Anne Sofie von Otter sings lieder by Sibelius. On
Monday - at 6:30 BBC/3 starts a week-long celebration of Alfred Brendel's
70th birthday. On Tuesday - CBC/2 has, at 20:00 Dmitri Hvorotovsky singing
Musorgsky and Verdi. On Wednesday - BBC/3 at 8:00 has Emma Kirkby; at
20:00 CBC/2 has Stephen Kovacevich in recital.

Happy New Year, Millenium.
