I definitely agree with Mr. DeSilva's opinion of the Sixteen. I love
every rendition I have heard by them. I would also like to second Mr.
DeSilva's opinion on Michael George. In the recordings I have of George,
he is wonderfully sweet-toned and powerful. I happen to think his vibrato
is fine but that's just me. He does wonderful work with the the Choir of
King's College, Cambridge and The King's Consort directed by Robert King
in the performances of Purcell's Complete Anthems and Services on the
ALWAYS-WONDERFUL Hyperion label. I think everyone should look into these
recordings.

[I should add that The Sixteen have a web site. It, and dozens
(hundreds?) of other early music web sites can be accessed via Brad
Leissa's excellent "PIPE" and "EMVE" lists at http://www.intr.net/bleissa/
