There are several Barbirollis and Boults.  Their last statements in these
symphonie were on EMI.  I like them all.

Boult recorded both on Lyrita.  They're brisker than the EMIs and he
doesn't divide the violins, but I like them.  They have fine sound.
There is also a 2nd on Westminster that's okay.  He did two from the
40s, one with the BBC (pretty good) and one on Testament with the LPO
(not so good).

Barbirolli recorded both in the fifties.  The First is a must have on
Dutton.  It may be the best First of all, if such a thing can be said
about any recording.  I'm not as fond of the Second, recorded under the
auspices of the Barbirolli society.  The First is in very good stereo;
the Second is in Mono.

There may be more in both cases for all I know.
