Was the Giulini a live performance? In this case we're really only
talking about a recording and a performance on the same day. With
something as relatively popular as Egmont, I'm not that surprised.

OTOH, on the day I was born Wilhelm Furtwaengler conducted the VPO in
Stockholm, while Bruno Walter gave his only post-war concert with the
BPO....
