I got the following message from someone who had visited my Alkan Web Page,
and thought it might be of interest to the List.

   In case you wished to know:  The New York Times has an ad from the
   Jupiter Symphony announcing the "North American Premiere" of Alkan's
   1832 Concerto da Camera, January 10 (2 and 7pm) and January 11 (8pm),
   with pianist James Giles.

   The venue is the Good Shepherd Church, near Lincoln Center, at 152
   West 66th Street.  Jupiter's web site is:  www.jupitersymphony.com.
   Their ticket prices are quite reasonable.
