Yes, because Mozart and Salieri are a wonderful historical example of a
meeting between genius and mediocrity.  And then there is the wonderful,
theatrically interesting legend of Salieri, the mediocre guy, killing
Mozart, the genius.  This is the reason.  If you don't see it you are
blind.
