Not a favourite, but certainly a curiosity: the track 'Nixon's Walk'
from the soundtrack to 'Band of Brothers' is, as far as I can tell,
'Dido's Lament' from 'Dido and Aeneas', arranged for low, slow strings.
(No credit to Purcell in the CD notes, as far as I can see, which I think
is unprofessional.)
