Richard Pennycuick:

>The English pianist Cyril Smith (1909-1974) suffered a thrombosis in 1957
>as a result of which he lost the use of his left arm. With his pianist
>wife Phyllis Sellick, he extended his career by playing concertos and
>arrangements for three hands. I have an EMI LP of concertos by Arnold,
>which was later released on CD, and by Bliss and Jacob which, AFAIK,
>weren't.

Wonderful pieces, all, and terrific performances by Smith and Sellick.
One of my favorite LPs.
