Beethoven's Violin Sonatas, performed by Anne Sophie Mutter and Lambert
Orkis are also in CD Pluscore format.  The playing is superb, if not
unique, being a fresh, new interpretation of these masterworks.  Orkis
is not known for subtlety, but for his more bombastic style.  Still, the
performance is well worth hearing.  On DG.
