Mimi Ezust on the joys of Mozart

>How about the first several movements of the Divertimento for violin, viola
>and cello

I know that this is my personal nuttiness, but this Divertimento (K563)
is on my short list for the greatest single piece of music ever written (I
know- a ridiculous concept.)

I would add almost any of the piano concerti - full of drama. I think
of them as mini operas without words or plots. And there is the spare,
unadorned, driving, somber Symphony #40, followed by the expansive, regal
41. And a few other items.
