David Harbin wrote, about BBC Music Magazine:

>They have dumped some real duffers on their readers (a yuk magnificat,
>second rate Beethovena and Schubert symphonies, the inevitable choral
>Christmas CD every December ...) but occasionally some gems.

One of these gems is the recording of Gustav Mahler Symphony no. 10,
with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales conducted by Mark Wigglesworth,
recorded live in the Royal Concert Hall on November 1993 (Volume II,
Number 12).
