Reading the postings on this thread and their inevitable subjectivity,
I started wondering which orchestra currently has the most recordings
in the catalogues.  Not surprisingly, it turns out to be the London
Philharmonic Orchestra.  It might not be the best around, but it could
well be the most versatile.
