We ALL say stupid things from time to time.  It's no reason to write him
off so completely.  Gould did play a few Mozart sonatas as if he hated
them, but his overall contribution to music is monumental, so cut the guy
some slack and give yourself some pleasure.  Or don't.  I'm sure it would
make no difference to Glenn Gould.
