Attention!  One of the greatest tenors Placido Domingo is to give a solo
concert at the Grand Theatre in Shanghai next January.  The concert is
accompanied by the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra (Who knows of it?).
The highest ticket price of this concert reaches an unprecedented RMB3000
(an estimated $370 US dollar) and the most incredible wonder is that
top-price tickets have already been sold out.  The price is even far higher
than the most expensive one for Carreras Solo (RMB1200), Turandot in Peking
conducted by Metah and, most recently, the spectacular Aida at the Shanghai
Stadium.  Now only the tickets ranging from 2000 to 2500 are available.  As
for the underground market, one have to pay RMB800 for a original RMB500
one.  Exorbitant!
