Just a note to point out two opera/lyric reference listings which may be
of interest ....

I've posted details of some 150 festivals that include lyric works. The
listings include programmes and casts where I have been able to obtain
this information and descriptions of the festivals in most cases. NB:
the listings only include lyric works, though details of the rest of the
programmes (if any) generally will be available from the festivals' own
websites. My festival lists start at:

http://operabase.com/en/festivals (in English)
http://operabase.com/fr/festivals (in French)

On now, and coming soon: London Handel Festival, Osterfestspiele Luzern,
Lugo, Osterklang Wien, Zagreb Music Biennale, Manaus Festival Amazonas,
Schwetzingen Festspiele ...

The Operabase links pages for almost 800 opera companies and over 1000
venues are being continually updated, at http://opus2.org/en Here you can
browse companies by name, city, country, professional organisation and so
on, finding phone, fax, email and website links. These pages are designed
to run happily inside frames, and anyone with a website is welcome to use
them. (see OperaStuff for an example)
