Agreed.  When these mergers and take-overs happen, we tend to worry
about the continuation of our needs being met by the record companies.
But, since it's all about profit, I don't see any reason to expect major
changes.  The Polygram Group and EMI were reducing their new releases in
response to the market before any mergers; nothing worse has happened
since.  In fact, I've noticed a greater tendency for new releases to hit
the U.S.  in addition to Europe.
