I have no idea how this is allowed either, but it isn't too rare, alas.
As I've mentioned earlier, Universal managed to omit a track for vol.
of Gardiner's Haydn mass traversal.  Benjamin Zander's Telarc recording
of Mahler's fourth has a most disastrous mixting flaw in the finale: the
second violins are seated on the wrong side (i.e.  left), the first
violins are pushed way back to near inaudibility.  Have you emailed Sony
and asked for a replacement?
