The following para is forwarded from the Cosmic Mirrors space news site;
& is dedicated to those members of this list with dual interests in space
exploration & CM (there are a few; although we seldom raise our heads to
admit it).  The Mars lander Beagle 2 has the musical support of Britpop
band Blur; DIVA has Mozart; there's even an opera singer with a senior role
in NASA's astrobiology institute (inspiring more than a few jokes about her
interest in alien intelligence being inspired by the people she met on the
opera stage).

I wonder when someone is going to bring in the popular composer & space
mystic Alan Hovhaness on one of these projects?
