Chris Bonds inquires:

I've consulted it repeatedly. That's what it's good for. It's an
authoritative, alum-dry compilation of Weberniana. Any resemblance to good
writing is purely by chance. Moldenhauer and his wife were Webern nuts who
invested a lot of their time and some of their money to get Webern better
known internationally. The book offers detail on Webern and his works that
even the Grove won't give you. If that's a criterion, consider buying it
(I always used the library when I needed it).
