Very complete, if not totally accurate work-lists for 132 composers are
to be found in the Jerzy Chwialkowski's "The Da Capo Catalog of Classical
Music Compositions" (NY 1996), ISBN 0-306-80701-7, paper, 0-306-79666-X,
cloth. I don't know if this is still in print or anything about its
availability outside the US. Not cheap--$30US at the time of publication.

If it appeals to anybody, try to get a look at it first and see if its
positive qualities outweigh the negative [the latter for me are personal
and not worth mentioning....]

The choice of composers here is a bit arbitrary, to my mind, but it does
include Martinu!
