Gene Halaburt reports:

>I have been informed that the Christopher Rouse Violin Concerto has been
>recorded by Ondine Records with soloist Cho-Liang Lin and the Helsinki
>Philharmonic. It is expected to be released in the Fall of 2003.

Can anyone knowledgeable about the recording industry explain why it takes
to long to release a performance that has actually been recorded already?
