The Berlioz Requiem was played for the funerals of the General De Gaulle
in Notre Dame de Paris (nov. 1970) and I was fortunate enough to record
it on my radio, together with an impressive Marseillaise. Both were
conducted by L. Bernstein. Grandiose!!!

I did not write down the name of the orchester, does somebody know ?
