I love my Grado SR-80's, but they are not sound-isolating.

For sound isolation, I suggest a pair of Koss "Sparkplugs." These are
in-the-ear units, inexpensive ($15 or so).  They do a great job with
sound isolation.  The sound is well-balanced.
