According to Anthony Thomasini in Sunday's New York Times, the 1970's
vintage Transcendental Etudes mentioned here was a casette.  It is out of
print.  However, he had praise for a 1990 version that is available from
Albany Records, saying it was even more impressive.  Would love to hear
reviews from anyone who attended Monday night's concert in New York.
