I just learned that Sony has decided to discontinue the Masterworks
Heritage series.  Does anyone on MCML have any contacts at Sony that knows
why? I am disappointed!

I was quite grateful for the several very high quality reissues in
the Heritage series of George Szell and the Cleveland Orchestra.  The
Mitropolous Wozzeck, Walter Mahler First, and Stravinsky/Cleveland releases
were also of the same caliber.  I guess it's a case of "be thankful for
what we got" type of thing.
