The one recording I own of this piece is the one recording that Roger
Hecht did not mention and that is Britten's recording.  If this recording
is still available, then it is certainly a very economical choice being on
one Double-Decca (about $17).

Like I said, it is the only version that I have ever heard but I have
enjoyed and it is coupled with Holst's "Hymn to Jesus" and Delius' "Sea
Drift".  Neither of these pieces are conducted by Britten, however.  I
bought mine about 2 years ago and I believe it is still available in the
States.
