I'm not sure about anyone else but I have an irresistible urge to achieve
100% completion when collecting a favorite composer's works. It doesn't
seem likely that I will rest until I have the complete works of Bach,
Purcell, Brahms or some others. Now with composers I am mildly attracted
to I think I can live with an extensive but incomplete set. Mozart is a
good example when concerning my likes and dislikes. I don't believe a
collection of the complete Mozart would be a very wise purchase considering
that I am not particularly fond of much of his output (and I believe I've
heard plenty). Mozart is starting to sound better to me, though, and I
believe I will start pursuing his later works (the early childhood works
just don't do it for me). Now Brahms, on the other hand, has not a work
which I have not found to be good listening if not a fantastic piece.
