Oops, you caught me red handed!  I think it's safe to say that if Oliveros
had received as much credit for her work as Stravinsky or Britten, I would
have heard of her.  That was my point.  How many people writing on this
thread have heard of her, or have heard her work? I think the points I made
did not depend on my familiarity with her work, but thanks for the advice.
