IIRC, Bert has the privilege of living (and listening to his car radio) in
Canada.  Virtually everywhere south of the border, the "favorite" station
would be broadcasting Vivaldi's "The Seasons" or Dvorak's 9th, and buttons
#2 and 3 don't exist at all, as the subject of this thread reminds us.
One might as well go straight to rock.

As a matter of fact, two of my car radio buttons are set to soft-rock
"oldies" stations which my older son, who has Down Syndrome, particularly
enjoys.  The paucity of CM is so severe that, even when he is not in the
car, I often press those buttons myself.  As a result, I have rather come
to enjoy listening to the Beatles, or Simon & Garfunkel, at least by
preference to Vivaldi & Dvorak.  Hence my musical horizons have been
expanded.  But perhaps this is not a strong argument in favour of
abolishing CM broadcasting.  Or is it?
