I was glad to see another fan of Charles Rosen's Bach (Lionel Choi), both
for the Goldbergs and the Art of Fugue.  I have recently become aware of a
US-based Russian, Sergei Schepkin, who has released a few Bach disks on the
Ongaku label.  A superb Goldberg Variations, and the six partitas, Italian
Concerto, etc.  Has anyone any information on this most interesting
pianist?
