Kevin Sutton on Seth's " An Equal Music":

>Nice music though and a good read!

Yes, the description of the quartet's preparation for recording "The Art
of the Fugue" is particularly interesting, as a new large viola had to be
prepared. This parallels what the Juilliard did in the same circumstances
in real life. And the personalities in the quartet are also interesting.
If only the "hero" were not such a whiner!!! And what the blazes did that
nice pianist see in him? In any case Seth owes it to the world to write a
thousand pages of sequel to that sublime chronicle and soap opera, " A
Suitable Boy".
