It's just as interesting to know what people hate as what they like, so
"Most Overrated Composer" sounds to me like a good thread in its own right.
My vote goes to Messiaen.

Mozart wouldn't even make my top ten.  OTOMH I can only think of one Mozart
piece I think is seriously overrated, the Symphony No. 39, and Mozart's
reputation hardly depends on that one work.
