Arkivmusic.com is excellent, agreed. But in THAT market (namely Web-based
retailing), Towerrecords.com also provides good selection, price and
service; its Website catalogue provides an exceptionally well-designed
search engine, and the bonus of samples to audition on many items.
Perhaps what will happen is that the overbuilt chain of Tower retail
stores will contract, while their classical sales will shift more and
more onto the Web.
