I was interested to see that Todd McComb had selected Davitt Moroney's
complete selection of Byrd's keyboard music as recording of the year.
I have been a long time admirer of Byrd's My Ladye Nevell's Book as played
by Christopher Hogwood. I had this recording on LP years ago, and was able
to purchase it on CD when it was reissued in that format. Never having
heard a recording by Moroney, I would appreciate hearing opinions of any
listmembers who have heard both Moroney and Hogwood; that is, how do
Hogwood and Moroney compare? If I love Hogwood's version of Byrd should
I rush out to buy Moroney?

Thanks to all.

Lee
