One of the century's great pianists and certainly one of the greatest
Chopin players ever.  His Liszt is pretty damn fine too.

Every time he walked past the statue of Chopin, he would lift his hat, in
deference to Schumann's "Hats off gentlemen, a genius" (trivia question:
which piece by Chopin was Schumann reviewing when he wrote that?)
