Hmmm... Is that what I wrote?  Must have been thinking about that "Letter
Scene"...

While we're on music and film (sort of), I just heard about the Visconti
film Senso, (?) and that it used Bruckner 5.  Is this film available?
V's M5 in Death in Venice got me started on Mahler...
