I do not know Wozzeck but the BBC Radio 3 Building A Library choice was
the Abaddo / VPO lDG ive version.  Certainly it sounded like the orchestra
had a stunning natural balance.

I am thinking of try the excerpts from Lulu and Wozzeck by Sinopoli and
the (wonderful) Staatskapelle Dresden.  Coupled with Alessandra Marc
singing some Berg Lider.  It is about to be rereleased on the Warner
El;atus label very soon.
