I can't stop listening to my Paavo Berglund recording on EMI (Helsinki
Phil.).  The many, many moments where one instrument picks up a note as
another instrument fades out are absolutely seamless--the texture and
timbre change with no stop/start.  You can't tell when one player starts
and the other stops.  The horn chorals are majestic, yet understated.  I
think it comes on a disk w/ the 4th, which is a brooding, intense
performance.
