Is anyone besides me thrilled that this sometimes somnolent List seems
to have found a topic that evokes seemingly endless responses? I'm
finding it fascinating.

By the way, I am so glad that I read a few more posts before I sent
in my response to the question about Saint-Saens symphonies.

On another topic: I got myself all excited when I read that Murray
Perahia, a pianist I admire vastly and whom I've somehow never heard in
person, was going to play at nearby Dartmouth College later this month.
But was disappointed to find the recital is sold out. Boo hiss.
