Many years ago, my father bought a set of the Brandenburgs by the Aston
Magna group (one of the first original instrument recordings in America,
and still the absolute best, IMHO).  It's stunning.  As close to flawless
as a performance of Bach can come.

Here's the problem...The Smithsonian has not brought them out on CD...
In fact, they only have back copies on either tape or LP.  Let's all
band together and write the Smithsonian to have them put this marvelous
recording out on CD...If they get enough input, perhaps they will release
it?
