As I was reading Steve's review and encountered the line above, I was
reminded of her recording of the Cello Concerto her father, Malcolm,
wrote for her.  Her playing was magnificent.  Imagine a 30 minute lyrical
cadenza for cello that never ceases to retain your attention...a work
of great beauty and expression, played lovingly.
