"I wonder what NPR stands for," I thought when this thread started.  "It
could be anything." A baseball team called North Philadelphia Raccoons? A
phailanthropic outfit called Nashville People's Realty? Replies suggested
it's a radio station.  Nearly Perfect Radio? Non-Profit Radio? Maybe it's
National Public Radio.  It might have a web site.  Or perhaps I'll just
send a post and ask.
