I must admit, I am not totally sure what you mean but I will tell you this:

I like the 4 seasons for what they are, period!  I like the melodies and
the way Vivaldi chose where he would change harmonies and what harmonies he
would change to.  By the same token, La Stravagnza has about 2 concertos I
like with the rest boring me all to Hell (please excuse me Antonio!).
