As members of this list probably knows, I'm right know very much
into Herreweghe's Bach I found an interview with him in an old issue of
Gramophone (5/ 97) where talks about Bruckner's music.  I quote " Like
Bach this is music that totally absorbs me and haunts me.  The fifth
symphony is for me one of the central mysteries of the world.

Could you recommend me a recording of the symphony?
